Porcelain Transformer bushing / Insulator    DIN Transformer Bushing:  As a standard product we can offer both
historical DIN standard bushings and the latest EN range of
bushings, these product cover the requirements of distribution and
power transformer manufacturers. We can offer ratings from 1kV
through to 40.5kV and up to 10000A with a wide variety of creepage
distances to meet all environemental conditions.    All outdoor
bushings are manufactured and tested in accordance with DIN
standard, the detail of the bushing is governed by either
historical DIN specification (no longer live standards but still
utilsed widely by the transformer and distribution industry) or the
latest range of EN specifications.      
The types of bushing are as follows:-    

1. Porcelain insulator bushing used upto 40.5 KV.
2. Oil filled bushings consisting of a hollow porcelain cylinder of special shape with a hollow tube shaped conductor through its centre used for the voltage above 40.5 KV.
3. Capacitor type bushing made of thick layers of bakelized paper alternating with thin graded layers of tin foil being covered by a porcelain rain shed and filled up with bitumen in the annular space between the rain shed and the bushing used in outdoor sub-station for the voltage above 40.5 KV.
